My friend Maria Reed Griffin from Tucson, AZ created this very beautiful painting for me. She knows I love bees, and I know she is a great artist. Those two things mixed together make this…
Isn’t it great! To look at more of Maria’s great artwork or to get an original of your own, visit her website here.
Thanks Maria!! I love you girl!

Cute! It’s like, “Oh, there’s that scientist watching me again.”

I hope the bee doesn’t think I’m a voyeur.

That’s about the cutest bee I’ve ever seen!
Love the stinger and the two big eyes looking right at you.

Thanks Ted =-) Maria captured the cuteness of bees very well. All I said was, “can you paint me a bee with a flower” and she came up with this.

Hey bee grrrl. I just posted a handful of pics of a bee I came across while out shooting flowers the other day:

You’ll have to probably page through a page, two or three, but they’re there!

This is a wonderful painting of a “Pollinator.”
It makes me think that somehow we BEE matrix lovers should find a way to connect artists and science researchers in a larger collaborative union to bring greater awareness to the Bees and other life sustaining pollinator creatures…?
I would be willing to get hooked up with this idea and promote it. I would love to see two diverse fields coming together and being used to develop educational biosphere awareness.
What do you think…?

Hi Chris,
There are some people out there combining the science with art to promote pollinators. Too bad there are not enough. I would love to combine the two and have a display for the public to see.

Hey Buzzy Bee,
Cool! I will talk with the Bees and the other pollinators for some inspirations and get in touch with you.
